Mortals of the Charred Chapel

This is a "Dungeon" module for characters Levels 3 - 5, designed for B/X inspired systems.

The black tower, made of scorched flesh and bone, stretches high into the sky, visible from every corner of the realm. From its orifices, it exhales soot and smoke… while also giving birth to horrors.

Tall, blind, human-shaped creatures spill from the obelisk, and they are fast, skilled and brutal. They attack any humanoid that the come across with. Whole villages have fallen, the kingdom’s knights struggle to stop them, and what’s worse is that our clerics aren’t able to turn them.

One of the creatures has been captured, locked in magic stasis coffins.

You and your party have been hired to study them. To cut them open. To learn what they are, and how to kill them... Only god knows what will happen once you open those coffins.
